Pell Grant
The federal Pell Grant does not have to be paid back. In order to determine if you are eligible, you need to complete a form every year you are in college. Amounts can change yearly and will depend on, your financial need, cost of attendance, and prorated based on actual enrollment status (full-time, or part-time). Pell is for undergraduate students, if you have earned a bachelors degree, you are not eligible for Pell. Pell is limited to no more than 12 full-time semesters or the equivalent, which is roughly six years.
SEOG Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
The federal SEOG is a grant that does not have to be paid back. Eligibility is determined by your financial need as determined by completing the form every year you are in college. SEOG is a limited funded program, determined by the availability of funds provided to the college from the Department of Education.
Unique Annual Scholarship
The Unique Annual Scholarship is a State of New Hampshire grant for students who demonstrate exceptional financial need. The Unique Scholarship does not have to be paid back. The student must be a New Hampshire resident, must be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more credits) and have completed the by December 31 of the financial aid year. Scholarships are prorated, based on a student’s actual enrollment each semester.
