Overview

The IT Cybersecurity certificate program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to be successful in the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of cybersecurity. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is partnering with CompTIA, the industry-leading trade association and certification body, to provide the latest in cybersecurity training.Ìý In addition to the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø certification, students will be prepared for 5 different CompTIA certifications: the industry recognized CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+ and one of CompTIA’s most in-depth security credentials, the Cybersecurity Analyst certification. Complete training, unlimited practice exams and one free certification exam are included with each of those five courses.Ìý

Building on these foundational cybersecurity competencies, the program further equips learners with essential skills that are increasingly critical in today’s data-driven threat landscape. You will gain practical expertise in artificial intelligence concepts along with the ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets using programming and database query techniques.

Designed for maximum flexibility, the program is delivered fully online and offers both a one-year full-time track and a two-year part-time track, allowing working professionals and busy learners to balance their studies with personal and career commitments. Each course follows an intensive 8-week fast-track format that delivers rapid skill development and meaningful progress, enabling learners to complete the entire certificate in as little as eight months. This accelerated yet adaptable structure ensures you can build in-demand cybersecurity and technical skills efficiently without sacrificing quality or depth.

Program Outcomes

Students who successfully complete the certificate program will have the opportunity to seamlessly transfer to an associate’s program at neighboring Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) through our 1+1 agreement or continue with other four-year institutions. This will allow students to continue their education in a related field and potentially open up new career opportunities. With this program, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is helping to ensure that students in rural communities have access to high-quality educational programs that will prepare them for the demands of the modern workforce.
